精舍介紹－ 「人身難得，佛法難聞，大善知識難遇。」以天主教為主的菲律賓地區，欲聽聞佛法實屬不易。為了讓更多人能親近正法，導師 上惟下覺大和尚特於首都馬尼拉成立海天禪寺，提供當地居民一處修習佛法、禪修靜坐的清涼地。海天禪寺座落在交通便利、氣候溫和，有「小碧瑤」之稱的青山區。五層樓高的獨棟建築，寬敞明亮、清淨素雅，禪堂與講堂均可容納上百人禪修禮懺、聽經聞法。自二○○二年成立以來，即積極開辦各級中文禪修班、英文禪修班、梵唄班、兒童暑期禪修夏令營等課程，並定期舉行禮懺、共修等法會，希望將菩提種子深植於每個人的心中。

The Grand Master of the Monastery is Venerable Wei Chueh, the founding abbot of Chung Tai
Chan Monastery, Taiwan.
禪修班報名須知：
■報名資格：身心健康，對靜坐與佛法有興趣者。
All classes are open to the public.
All participants should be in goog psychological and physical health.
■報名須知：請備妥 2吋相片一張，親自辦理。
Please register in person, and submit one 2x2 recent picture.
■禪修課程：一期三個月，學費全免，歡迎隨喜供養。
Classes run approximately 3 months. All programs are free of charge.
We are supported by your generous donations.
■禪修服裝：請著居士服或寬鬆衣褲、襪子上課，請勿穿低胸、短裙、短褲或赤腳。
Wear meditation uniform or any comfortable and modest attire and SOCKS.
Optional meditation clothing may be obtained at the monastery.
Do not wear low cut dresses/ blouses, short skirts, short pants, or go bare feet.

The monastery is open daily. No pets, non-vegetarian food, smoking, or alcohol allowed inside
