From our school located in the Puli Township, Taichung or Changhua can be reached within one hour with the Freeway No. 6, Taipei or Kaohsiung within 3 hours. Puli has become a back garden of the metropolitan regions.

Pu Tai Senior High School is situated in the inner suburbs of Puli. Its location is surrounded by endless mountains and covered in luxuriant vegetation. Streams and brooks meander in the idyllic landscape. The local climate is mild and pleasant. The Central Mountain Range extends out in front of your very eyes; the Puli Basin stretches out under your feet. This environment broadens one’s vision and develops a high level of spirituality.

Our students live and study on the vast 22-hectare campus among gardens, pavilions, old trees, lawns, ponds, and flower beds. You can hear birds singing and crickets chirping in the morning, and see a bright moon and hundreds of stars shining overhead at night. In the distance, the morning bell clangs and the evening drum beats in the monastery, freshening our students’ minds constantly. Astronomy Center | Chinese Literature Center

Astronomy Center　
The Astronomy Center has an all-sky telescope and a planetarium for Earth Science class and the astronomy club’s use. It can cultivate students’ interest in exploring the immense universe.

Chinese Literature Center
The Chinese Literature Center consists of antique style classrooms, recital rooms, and a display hall. It allows our students to acquire a deep literary knowledge.

Foreign Language Center | Library and Resource Center

Foreign Language Center
Adapted for our four-language program (English, Japanese, French, and Spanish), the Foreign Language Center consists of language classrooms which conform to the standards of language proficiency test requirements. It also has theme classrooms for studying cultures of the four languages, as well as general classrooms with different sizes and functions.

Library and Resource Center
Our Library spans over 35,000 square feet with a collection of 100,000 volumes. It includes several computer study lounges providing teaching software for each subject. They enable students to develop their ability to learn independently.

Sports facilities
We have complete sports facilities such as a 50-meter standard swimming pool, a sports ground with 400-meter standard running track, a multi-functional sports center with a seating capacity of 4500 (including fitness rooms, table tennis rooms, aerobic classroom, martial arts classrooms, etc.), as well as basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts.

Music and art classrooms
These consist of the Concert Hall (including a performance hall, a music center, and practice rooms), go chess classroom, Chinese calligraphy classroom, Chinese painting classroom, western painting classroom, printmaking classroom, ceramics classroom, etc.

Nature Science Lab
We have two laboratories for each Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Science subject. Each subject has its own subject classroom containing state-of-the-art equipment.

All subject classrooms are fitted out with computer multimedia equipment, including computers, DVD players, projectors, 120-inch screens, and wireless speakerphones, etc.

Student Dormitories
Our Dormitories are fitted out with a computer security system to ensure our students’ safety. The four-person studio apartments are spacious and comfortable. Students have access to the computer self-learning lounges, where educational films and learning software are provided. Other spacious and quiet study lounges are furnished with individual desks for concentrated study. The meditation rooms offer a space for finding inner peace and calm. As for the recreation lounges, they are the best place for leisure and parties.
