FRIED VEGETABLE DUMPLINGS


Ingredients:

  • Soft tofu skin or veggie meat
  • Carrots
  • Powdered milk
  • All-purpose flour and water
  • Dumpling wrappers or wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Seasonings:

  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Vegetarian oyster sauce

Directions:

  • Chop tofu skin or veggie meat and grate carrots to make the stuffing. Combine with powdered milk, salt, sugar, and vegetarian oyster sauce to taste.
  • Mix a little water and flour to form a paste for sealing the wrappers.
  • Fill wrappers with stuffing and seal tightly with the flour mixture.
  • Heat oil in a pan and brown dumplings over medium high heat until golden and crispy on both sides.
