Hakka Style Stir Fry
Ingredients (serves 3-4):
- 5 pcs. dried (pressed) tofu
- 3 pcs. shiitake mushrooms
- 1 pc. king oyster mushroom
- 75 g (2.6 oz) vegetarian ham
- 4 pcs. bamboo shoots
- shredded cheese (optional)
- chili peppers
Seasonings:
- vegetarian oyster sauce
- salt
- mushroom powder
Instructions:
- Cut tofu, vegetarian ham, and king oyster mushroom into strips. Cut bamboo shoots into segments. Deseed and slice chili peppers diagonally.
- Soak shiitake mushrooms in water until soft and then cut them into thick strips.
- Heat oil in a pan and stir fry tofu, shiitake mushrooms, and king oyster mushrooms separately over medium-low heat, then set them aside.
- Stir fry vegetarian ham until dry, then add tofu, shiitake mushrooms, and king oyster mushrooms and stir fry again slightly.
- Add bamboo shoots and chili peppers to the pan, and stir fry briefly over high heat with vegetarian oyster sauce.
- Finally, add a little salt and mushroom powder for seasoning, and stir fry until the sauce is absorbed. Add shredded cheese after removing from heat (optional).
