Take Guo Guang Bus to Puli then transfer to other transportations, i.e. by taxi to Chung Tai Chan Monastery. It's about 20 minutes away.

  
Or Take the railroad train to Taichung Station. Transfer to commercial tour bus or privately- run small bus at Gan Cheng Station to Puli. Then take other transportation to Chung Tai Chan Monastery.
