By road

Take National Freeway No.3 (either northbound or southbound). At Wufeng Interchange (214), merge onto National Freeway No.6 toward Guoshing and Puli. Exit at Puli Interchange. There are 3 exits to Puli; please take the second exit (Puli, Guoshing), and turn right towards Puli. Turn right at Jhongjheng Road, and then turn left at the sign for Yongfeng Road. Continue to follow the signs for Chung Tai Chan Monastery. Turn onto Dongfeng Road and go straight until you arrive at the monastery.

By bus
 

(1) Take Guo Guang Bus to Puli and then take another means of transportation to the monastery (e.g. taxi, approximately a 20 minute ride).

(2) Take train to Taichung Station. Then go to Gancheng Station, and take a bus to Puli. At Puli, take another means of transportation to Chung Tai Chan Monastery.

(3) Take High-Speed Rail (HSR) to Taichung Station (Wurih), then take a bus to Puli, and finally take another means of transportation to Chung Tai Chan Monastery.
